Journaling was one of the most important tools in my own healing. It gave me time and space to be honest, to process at my own pace, and to put words to things I didn’t yet know how to say out loud. Looking back over those pages, I could actually see how I was changing. These prompts come directly out of that process.
This PDF includes photographed pages from a journal I kept during that season—where I saved articles, painted, pasted in song lyrics and photographs, and copied out excerpts from books that were shaping me. Some of these pages are very personal. Keeping this scrapbook helped me gather scattered thoughts and process in a different, more tactile way.
